From June 1951 to September 1962, she got married with actor Tony Curtis. She is also the mother of Kelly Curtis & Jamie Lee Curtis. Her film career started in mid- 1940s, after she was hired by MGM. Her name was noticed by Norma shearer. She starred in a number of cult films over the following decade, such as Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho (from 1960) as well as Living It Up (1954) with Martin Lewis.
